Have you ever struggled with beauty?

I never thought I was beautiful. At one point, I lost a lot of weight and I became very skinny. I was very subconscious about it.

Do you still struggle with this issue?

No.

How did you overcome this issue?

When I came to Christ, I started thinking of Christ more than myself.

What is your advice to young girls?

They are beautiful because they are the children of God.

If they look at Christ and how he came and suffered and was pierced, how the most beautiful became no beauty on the cross, and all that so he can get them a place, position, and power, and they would know how much they are adorable.

Have you ever struggled with your looks?

Sometimes. I am a little bit fat. I want to lose weight, but I start my diet and don’t continue.

How does this issue affect you?

When I gain weight and when I want to go out and do not find suitable clothes, I spend so much time to find something. I feel bad about it.

A lot of women struggle with their looks, what is your advice to them?

To see their beauty according to the Word of God. God said that you are beautiful and the inner beauty is much more valuable which remain and last more than the external beauty. If we have the inner beauty, it remains with us and it never changes. People think we are beautiful because of what is inside. If I know that I am beautiful, people will see me beautiful too.

Do you think you are physically beautiful?

Well, I think I am looking beautiful in God's eyes.

I don't know really about myself what to say but I know he created me and I look nice in His sight.

So you don't struggle with this issue?

Sometimes maybe because of my nose , but later when I see the new born babies and they have like big nose I know that it is made by His hand.

What advice do you give young girls?

I tried before long time ago to color my hair and put a lot of makeup to look nice but I found all these things just to cover and to hide what it is inside. When you know your savior and discover his love in your life, these things will have not be as important.

Do you think you are beautiful?

My spiritual relationship with God decides how I view myself. I feel beautiful when my relationship with Him is strong. The Lord gives me the spirit of satisfaction. Beauty starts from the inside and it is reflected on the outside. Many people might look beautiful from the outside but their spirit is deceitful which will make them look bad.

Is there something you like to change about your looks?

No, I am satisfied for being created in the image of God. "Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:30).
